Study Abroad |
| |
|     In accordance with the State
Education Advisory¡¯s program and the local Education Bureau, Xinjiang
University began to send its faculty to study abroad in 1996. In order
for a member of our faculty to study abroad, they must initiate the
process by applying, receive the recommendation of their superiors,
be examined by a group of experts and then be selected as the most
qualified from those wishing to study abroad. Before leaving they
must sign an agreement with the administrators of the education fund
stating that if they do not keep all the conditions of their contact,
they must reimburse the fund. Even with these restrictions, 500 people
in different fields have been to study abroad and now play a very
important role in the teaching, research and administrative work of
the University. |
